Marinade
- ½ lb Chicken
- 3 tbsp Yogurt
- ½ tsp Chili Powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- ¾ tsp Malvani Masala/Store-bought Garam Masala
Gravy
- 1 cup Tomato Puree
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- ½ cup Almonds
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- ½ tsp Malvani Masala/Store-bought Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- ½ cup Heavy Cream
- 2 tbsp Butter
Additional Ingredients
- A Packet of bite-size Naan
- Cilantro to garnish
Marinate the chicken in the above mentioned ingredients for 4 hours in the refrigerator.
Roast the onions in a little oil and then make a paste using a little water. Blend the almonds in this paste as well.
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan and add in the cumin seeds.
Once the seeds splutter add in the ginger-garlic paste cook for 3-4 minutes till the raw smell vanishes
Mix in the onion-almond paste,tomato puree as well as chili powder and malvani masala and let the gravy come to a boil.
Add the marinated chicken as well as the heavy cream and continue cooking for till the chicken gets fully cooked and the gravy thickens up.
To assemble warm the naan according to the packet instructions. Scoop a spoonful of the chicken gravy onto the naan and enjoy.
